My family has spent a week in New Smyrna Beach Florida for the past dozen years. We rent a few condo units in July and have a good-sized gathering. We've booked at a new and rather swanky resort for next summer.

Endangered whale beaches in Flagler County

A resident of The Hammock spotted a young, beached whale during her morning walk. The 25-foot-long animal, which scientists believe is an endangered fin whale, was already dead.

Aruba: No charges against suspects in Natalie Holloway case
