The tents are also compact and come in handy carrying cases that easily stores in the trunk of your vehicle.

It is still important to apply a high quality sun screen even if your have the protection from the sun by sitting in the shade. The sun screen will protect you from the harmful rays that can penetrate the fabric of beach tents. Harmful UV rays can penetrate through T-shirt material as well when you are exposed to the sun over a prolonged period of time. For this reason it is important to apply sun screen over your entire skin and then get dressed. It is also important to reapply the sun screen often through out your time outdoors.

By renting or purchasing beach tents or umbrellas and protecting your self with sunscreen, even the fairest skinned individual can enjoy a day at the beach. Use common sense and have your companions watch that you are not showing signs of over exposure.
